To provide a portable terminal for an appropriate lighting luminance corresponding to an imaging condition.
An image controlling/processing part 11 transmits zooming control information or processes images of a camera 15, while a camera control unit 14 controls the camera 15 based on the zooming information. The camera 15 is allowed to be zoomed. A light control unit 12 changes lighting luminance based on the zooming information or image process information, and a lighting part 13 emits light at an arbitrary luminance. The image controlling/processing part 11 transmits the zooming information (optical zooming) to the camera control unit 14, and it also transmits it to the lighting control unit 12. The image controlling/processing part 11 transmits a digital zooming information and the image process information such as gradation/profile of image to the light control unit 12. The information is used at the light control unit 12 for controlling stepwise lighting luminance.
