The portable terminal 1 comprises toll automatic payment means 11 for automatically paying a toll, and the toll automatic payment means 11 includes: an ETC communication section 111 for communicating with an entrance gate of the ETC system (electronic toll collection system) placed at an entrance side of a toll road and an exit gate placed at a toll gate; a vehicle information retention section 112 for retaining vehicle information previously registered by a user; and a payment information retention section 113 for retaining payment information which is previously set or selected and is information needed for the user of the portable terminal to pay a toll fare.
