To provide a portable terminal unit with functions of electronic money and a season ticket, and informing of the remaining value of the electronic money and the expiring date of the season ticket and the points stored in a point card, without disturbing the surrounding environment, using a method preset by a user.
The portable terminal unit includes a contactless IC card functional section (110) for storing the remaining value of the electronic money, and for performing accounting processing through contactless communication with an external unit (200); a voice output interface (190) for outputting voice through the connection with an external voice output unit (300); and a notification section (124) for notifying that the remaining value of the electronic money is smaller than a predetermined value with voice via the voice output interface (190), when the electronic money is smaller than the predetermined value and the external voice output unit (300) is connected to the voice output interface (190).
