Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate operation with one hand.SOLUTION: A portable terminal (10) has a touch screen TS allowing an object Ob to be displayed therein. When a slide operation inward from an end part of the touch screen TS is performed, a CPU (24) of the portable terminal determines this operation as a specific slide operation (S1, S3, and S21) and displays function icons FI relating to user interface functions of a cursor, a speech input and so on, in areas where the function icons may be touched after the specific slide operation of the touch screen TS, in response to determination of the specific slide operation (S27 and S35). Then, when a present touch position PTP of the specific slide operation enters the display area of a function FI, the interface function related to the function icon FI is started (S37, S39, S43, and S59).
