Abstract:
To provide a portable terminal in which switching from a current consumption saving energy mode to a full time lighting mode is enabled only by elongating/housing a whip antenna.
This portable terminal has a light shade board 7 for photosensor attached to a lower fitting metal 2b of a whip antenna 2 and a means for switching light to be made incident to a photosensor by making the light shade board 7 move linked with sliding of the whip antenna 2.
