To provide a portable toilet which can take out and store a bucket with a simple operation without increasing the weight of the portable toilet.

A portable toilet, which is equipped with a bucket 6 and a toilet seat 4 on a seating surface of a chair member 1 on which a user sits, includes a bidet device 2 equipped with a nozzle 2b, a guide plate 8 which guides cleaning water sprayed from the nozzle below the nozzle 2b in storage into the bucket, and the bucket 6 which is located below the guide plate 8 and is placed at the chair member 1 so that it overlaps with the guide plate 8 by an amount of L. The bucket 6 is placed slidably relative to the chair member 1 so that it can take a first position at which overlaps with the guide plate 8 by an amout of L and a second position which slides from the first position to the front side. A handle 9 which is stored approximately horizontally on the front side of the chair member 1 is pivoted swingably on the bucket 6. The slide of the bucket 6 is controlled by storing the handle 9.
