A portable toilet includes: a toilet body 10 for a user to be seated, and having a backrest part 12 in the rear part; a bucket detachably provided on the toilet body 10 for storing excrement; a lid body 40 opening and closing above an opening of the bucket so as to cover at least part of an upper part of the toilet body 10; a first hinge part supporting the lid body 40 rotatably to the toilet body 10; a rotation regulation part regulating rotation through the first hinge part of the lid body 40; and a second hinge part having a rotation center different from that of the first hinge part and supporting the lid body 40 rotatably to the toilet body 10. The lid body 40 rotates to one side through the first hinge part, and further rotates to one side through the second hinge part when rotation by the first hinge part is regulated by the rotation regulation part.
