A cutter (portable tool) 1 comprises a driving source built in a cutter body (tool body) 2, a rotary blade 3 rotated/driven by the driving source, a protection cover 4 covering a part of a periphery of the rotary blade 3, and a dust collection cover 12 for sucking and recovering dusts from a suction opening on a part of the periphery of the rotary blade 3. The dust collection cover 12 is formed along a periphery of the protection cover 4 and at least a part of it is composed of elastic material.
