Abstract:

To permit to transmit fingerptint data only when the user actually use the transmitter, or the user can make a selection for transmitting the command signal required by the user, and also any increase in the size of the keyless transmitter is prohibited and a keyless transmitter suited to a portable type transmitter can be provided.

This transmitter comprises a fingerprint detector section detecting the user's fingerprint, a transmitter section for transmitting the fingerprint data from the fingerprint detecting section and a transmitting switch for triggering the fingerprint data transmission from the transmitter section, this transmitting switch and the fingerprint detecting section are arranged as one united body, and the transmitting switch is exerted in response to the operation of the fingerprint detection section by the user in this portable transmitter for the motor vehicle key system.
