To improve reliability by preventing the falling-down of a compressing apparatus even when a belt mounting portion made of resin provided on a casing has been damaged.

Both end portions of a carrying shoulder belt 16 are attached to right and left belt attaching portions 5, 6 formed of resin integrally with the base member 3 of a casing 2, and also an auxiliary belt 17 for preventing the falling-down is provided so as to connect both end portions of the shoulder belt 16. By this configuration, the right and left belt attaching portions 5, 6 can be provided at a low cost, and further can prevent the falling-down of the portable type air compressing apparatus 1 because the auxiliary belt 17 forms a ring on the right belt attaching portion 6 side in cooperation with the shoulder belt 16 even if, for example, the left belt attaching portion 5 has been damaged and has been separated from the base member 3.
