To provide a portable type jack with quick lifting action, hardly generating collapse of cargo during operation and capable of retaining a lifted heavy weight article at a position where a hand is separated after lifting even if it happens.
The portable type jack is provided with a base member 12 formed with a first insertion claw 24 on a distal end; a guide member 14 vertically standing up from the base member 12; a moving member 16 having a second insertion claw 28 on a distal end and slidable along a standing direction of the guide member 14; links 18A, 18B having a pin connection part at one end connected by the moving member 16 and a first pin 32; and bent levers 20A, 20B having a distal end of one side formed so as to have a bent part connected by a pin connection part at the other end of the links 18A, 18B and second pins 34A, 34B, having the bent part connected by the base member 12 and a third pin 38 and having an extension part of the other side made to a rod-like handle 22.
