Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a portable video phone terminal that can be used without a sense of incongruity by displaying an image on a display device even when excellent transmission of image data is disabled.
SOLUTION: In the portable video phone terminal 10, a display device 11 displays an image only at the point of time when all image data for the image to be displayed are prepared, and continues displaying a previous image up to that time. Moreover, in the case that all the image data of the image to be displayed next are not prepared within a prescribed determined time or a re-transmission request of data reaches a predetermined number of times when using the ARQ system, the image data of the image are aborted and image data of a succeeding image are decoded.
