Abstract:
To provide a portable work machine which prevents an erroneous engine stop caused by erroneous detection of a liquid level of lubrication oil and can maintain safety for a worker.SOLUTION: An engine cutter 100 serving as a portable work machine includes: an engine 6; an oil tank 7 in which lubrication oil supplied to the engine 6 is stored; a sensor unit 30 (an inclination angle detection part 20 and a rotation number detection part 24) which outputs at least two kinds of signals which change according to a work machine working state; an oil level detection part 21 which detects a liquid level of the lubrication oil stored in the oil tank 7; a notification device 25 which notifies a worker of abnormality in the liquid level of the lubrication oil; and a control part 26 which controls operation of the notification device 25 and the engine 6 on the basis of each signal output from the sensor unit 30 and a detection result of the oil level detection part 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
