PURPOSE: To obtain a porous sheetlike material advantageous in printing, having deodorizing action, antimicrobial action, mildewproofing action, moisture absorption, showing a light color tone, not giving an unhealthy feeling.

CONSTITUTION: At least either fine fibers or fine particles of plant of the family bamboo are arranged in the interior and/or on the surface of a porous sheetlike material comprising paper or nonwoven fabric. Deodorizing action, antimicrobial action, and mildewproofing action of water vapor absorption of fine fibers and fine particles of plant of the family bamboo are effectively exhibited and the color of the sheetlike material is made into a light color tone.
