Abstract:
PURPOSE: To shorten the starting time of a camcorder at the time of turning a power source ON when the position of the lens of the camcorder is detected at the relative position from an original point to be controlled.
CONSTITUTION: A microcomputer 7 calculates the position of a lens 1 by counting a pulse P for driving a stepping motor 4 based on the position where an original point sensor 6 detects the lens 1 as a reference. When a power source switch 9 is turned OFF, the lens 1 is moved in the direction of the original point sensor 6. And when the original point sensor 6 detects the lens 1, the lens 1 is stopped. Then, when the power source switch 9 is turned ON, since the lens 1 is already positioned at the original point, the time for the lens 1 to be positioned at a prescribed position is shortened.
