Abstract:
To provide a position detection method and an imaging apparatus applied with the position detecting method capable of reducing the affection of distortion of sine wave signals output from the MR elements.
The sine wave signal different in 90 degree phase angles output from the MR element are sampled by a prescribed sampling frequency, and the change rate parameters representing the two sine wave signals RSA and RSB are calculated based on the sample values. By using the sample values the absolute value of the difference of the changing rate parameters is smaller than the prescribed value, the initialized parameter B and C representing the offset values of two sine wave signals are calculated.
