Abstract:

To provide a position detection apparatus for a moving body, which can be controlled automatically in such a way that the position detection accuracy of the position detection apparatus is kept constant.

A moving body 10 which is moved on a board body 2 by a radio control operation generates an induced voltage at loop coil groups 2d, 2e arranged in a matrix shape on the board body 2 when an oscillation coil 11 installed inside the moving body 10 is oscillated. When the loop coil groups 2d, 2e are scanned electrically, the position of the moving body 10 is grasped. The moving body 10 is moved slightly on the board body 12 in an initializing operation or the like, the peak of the induced voltage obtained at this time is found, and a binarization slice level is set at about 60% of its peak value. Alternatively, a binarization slice level is set at about 80% of a voltage at a time when peak voltages detected in two adjacent regions of a matrix become the same each other.
