Abstract:

PURPOSE: To simply build up the detection system for a vehicle position for a business managing lots of vehicles such as transportation business by allowing a stationary terminal equipment connected, to a mobile communication exchange station detects a current position of a mobile body terminal equipment.

CONSTITUTION: A district data table 12 used to store relation between a district identification code and a district name and a terminal identification code (vehicle number) of a mobile body terminal equipment 1 and the district identification code with cross reference is provided to a stationary terminal equipment 9 connected to a radio base station 6 through a mobile communication exchange station 7 and a general exchange station 8. When the mobile body terminal equipment 1 receives a district identification code different from the district identification code stored already newly, a preset vehicle number and the district identification code received newly are sent automatically to the stationary terminal equipment 9 through the radio base station 6, the mobile communication exchange station 7 and the general exchange station 8. A control section 11 of the stationary terminal equipment 9 receives information sent through a reception section 10, referes to the district data table 12, extracts the district name and displays it onto a display section 13 together with the vehicle number.
