PURPOSE: To easily confirm a diver completing diving by a diver's position detector carried by the driver and provided with a means for detecting his present position and a means for indicating his present position.

CONSTITUTION: In the beginning of diving, a diving time is set from an input unit 1 to set the diving time to a diving timer of a controller 2. Also, a measurement starting switch of the input unit 1 is depressed to store longitude and latitude information measured by a GPS device 3 in a memory of the controller 2 and the diving timer is started. The remaing time for the diving is counted by the diving timer to be indicated on a timer indicating section of an indicator 5. When the timer indicating section shows '0', a diver completes the diving. When the measurement starting switch of the input unit 1 is again depressed, the controller 2 calculates a distance and orientation between the diving starting position and present position from the longitude and latitude information measured then by the GPS device 3 and that stored in the memory to indicate them on the indicator 5.
