PURPOSE: To decrease number of components, by switching each reception signal of a traveling position detecting antenna and a transversal position detecting induction radio line with an analog multiplexer so that the position detection can be made by one set of reception and detecting device.

CONSTITUTION: A pair of conductors of traveling position detecting antenna 3 and a transversal position detecting induction radio line 2 are connected to an analog multiplexer 1 along the traveling and transversal tracks for a mobile equipment having trolley lines to move transversally on a girder traveling on a track, and each reception signal of the antenna 3 and the line 2 is swtiched with the analog multiplexer 10. Levels and phase difference detected with analog circuits such as one set of reception filters 11, an amplifier 12, a level detector 13 and a phase detector 14 are time-divided at a position detecting logical circuit 15 to discriminate the traveling and transversal positions.
