Abstract:
To provide a open/close detector of a seat or a lid for toilet, which is excellent in detecting accuracy using an inexpensive permanent magnet.
In this position detector, a distance (gap length) between a permanent magnet and a Hall element is made shorter as much as possible, thus a permanent magnet with a weak magnetic force, for instance a magnet with a maximum energy product of ≤10 KJ/m3 can be used, thereby reducing component cost.
