Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the position display device for operating tool with which it can be reported to an operating person that an operating tool gets close to body structure to be attended such as a nerve or a main blood vessel.
CONSTITUTION: A body structure to be attended position memory 12 stores the position of the body structure to be attended designated by a body structure to be attended position designating part 16 based on a tomographic image, stored in an image memory 14, at the concerned part of a reagent M. A position monitoring means 13 compares the top end position of an operating tool 2 successively detected by a position calculating part 7 and converted to a position on the tomographic image by a position information converting part 8 and the position of the body structure to be attended, stored in the memory 12. When the top end of the operating tool 2 gets close to the body structure to be attended, a voice part 17 is operated.
