Abstract:
To provide a position fixing device of a shift lever which can surely connect the shift lever and a transmission by using a shift cable by fixing the shift lever in a prescribed shift position by using a shift knob.SOLUTION: A position fixing device of a shift lever comprises: a base bracket 12 fixed to a vehicle body side; a shift lever 14 supported to the base bracket so as to be oscillatory; an alignment protrusion 30 connected to the shift lever, and formed by aligning the base bracket and the shift lever; and a shift knob 32 detachably attached to a tip of the shift lever. By making an engagement hole formed at the shift knob engaged with the alignment protrusion at the connection of a shift cable, the shift lever is fixed in a prescribed shift position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
