To provide a lifting device of land/track traveling vehicle which prevents the device from lowering or lifting during running by holding each position of housing position at which iron wheels or a turntable is lifted and developing position at which it is lowered.
In the lifting device, a double check valve 20 is provided between a double acting type hydraulic cylinder 10 for operating the lifting device and switching valve 5 of the hydraulic cylinder for switching an introducing/discharging of hydraulic fluid with respect to an operating pressure chamber of the cylinder, the hydraulic fluid within the operating pressure chamber can be sealed within the operating pressure chamber by the valve 20 at a neutral position of the switching valve 5, a first operating pressure chamber 11 and second operating pressure chamber 12 of the hydraulic cylinder 10 are communicated to one side opening/closing port 31 and the other side opening/closing port 32 of shuttle valve 30, respectively, at a secondary side of the valve 20, a hydraulic fluid supplementing circuit 41 equipped with a check valve 46 is communicated to a middle port of the shuttle valve 30, and the hydraulic fluid is supplemented to an operating pressure chamber at a high pressure side of the hydraulic cylinder 10 through the supplementing circuit 41 and shuttle valve 30 at the middle position of the switching valve 5.
