Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position information generation device that is applicable to an image display unit for adopting a solid-state display device driven by a progressive method and has moderate restriction on a visual field of a camera.SOLUTION: At four corners of a display screen, a marker by a pair of vertical and horizontal bar codes is displayed. It is photographed by a camera built-in a collimation operation tool. Based on a position corresponding to a collimation point in an obtained photographed image, four corner points of the display screen derived from the marker, and a size of the display screen, a relative position of the collimation point to the display screen is calculated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 21
