Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable the position information input device, constituted by placing the pressure sensing type tablet and an LCD one over the other, to input accurate position coordinate information from a coordinate detection signals at all times even if an induction noise is generated in the coordinate detection signal due to the AC bias of the LCD.
CONSTITUTION: An LCD controller 12 outputs an AC-converted signal AS for driving the LCD 6. A tablet controller NO detects the AC-converted signal AS, inputs the coordinate detection signal PS from the pressure sensing type tablet 11 in synchronism with a stable part of the AC-converted signal AS, and converts it into the position coordinate information.
