Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a common platform of position information provision corresponding to integration of a network.
SOLUTION: A position information provision section 40b of a gateway server 40 acquires position information of portable units 10, 20 and 30 generated in different expression forms from a positioning center 50, converts the acquired position information into expression forms able to be processes by IP servers 80A, 80B via a position information converter 60 and informs the IP servers 80A, 80B about the position information after conversion. Thus, the IP servers 80A, 80B can acquire the position information of the portable units 10, 20 and 30 without notifying the difference from the expression forms.
