Abstract:
To provide a position information system capable of recognizing a portable terminal of a user who is not moving and a portable terminal of a user who is moving with leaving it while distinguishing the terminals from each other.SOLUTION: In a position information system that comprises a portable terminal that can transmit information on its own position and a server wirelessly communicable with the portable terminal, the portable terminal can transmit terminal information indicating a state of the portable terminal to the server. The server can transmit information indicating a map of a predetermined area and a position of the portable terminal on the map to predetermined equipment, and generates moving information indicating whether or not the portable terminal is moving on the basis of the information on the position received from the portable terminal, generates carry rate information indicating a carry rate of the portable terminal on the basis of the moving information and the terminal information received from the portable terminal, and transmits the carry rate information to the predetermined equipment together with the information on the map. The predetermined equipment displays a mark of the portable terminal on the map in such a manner that the carry rate of the portable terminal can be recognized.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
