Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve control accuracy by searching the mean value of output values of a position sensor in a time interval in which variation of a plurality output values of the sensor detected at every prescribed sampling time is the smallest in specific time intervals, and learning it as the output value of the position sensor in a specific range.
CONSTITUTION: While a learning time does not elapse, at every appearance of a time interval in which dispersion of sampling values is the smallest in respective time intervals up to that time, renewal and memory of it is operated. This control flow is closed at the stage of the lapse of learning after leading-in. As a result, a mean value of four sampling values in the time interval in which dispersion of sampling values during the finally renewed and memorized learning time is the smallest, is learned as the output value of a position sensor 22 in this range, and used for detection of a range after next time. Hence, the actual position of a range changeover valve 30 can be recognized, regardless of various manufacturing dispersion of individual vehicles.
