Abstract:
To accurately detect a rotor position with a position sensor dispensing with a permanent magnet and achieve alignment of the position sensor easily with high accuracy.SOLUTION: A position sensor 1F detects a rotor position on the basis of a change of inductance due to rotation of a rotor 2 secured to a shaft 5. A cylindrical stator 3F includes multiple sets of magnetic pole pair 32A, 32B consisting of a pair of main magnetic poles 31 arranged concentrically with a center C of rotation and projected from an inner circumferential surface 3a toward the center C of rotation. The rotor 2 includes a pair of convex poles 21 projected to the outside from a reference cylindrical surface 20a having a certain distance from the center C of rotation. The position sensor 1F also includes a coil pair 4A, 4B consisting of coils wound around the respective main magnetic poles 31 of each magnetic pole pair 32A, 32B. On an outer circumferential surface 3b of the stator 3F, a plurality of first plain surfaces 34 extending in a tangential direction of a virtual circle 3C around the center C of rotation in an axial view and a connection part 35 linking the plurality of plain surfaces 34 are included.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
