Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a device capable of being used even in an inexpensive and narrow place at the time of setting a position and more accurately setting up a position on a map.
CONSTITUTION: This position setting device is provided with a map book 33 having plural pages each of which includes a map divided into plural rectangular frames, a transparent film-like map scale 34 displaying a scale having sections in a rectangle matched with the size of each frame on its surface, switches for specifying the page of the map book, a frame name and a position in the frame, and a position computing means for computing the position in accordance with the information from the switches.
