To provide a method of enabling installation personnel of an ID information transmitter or the like to collect costs occurring in the installation in an indoor positional information providing system, and to provide a method of preventing free use of a third party having an ID information receiver in profit of the ID information transmitter or the like limitlessly.
A positional information providing server notifies the ID information receiver of information on an indoor area. The ID information receiver requests an ID-positional information list including an identifier of the ID information transmitter or the like installed in the indoor area and positional information from the position information providing server when the ID information receiver approaches the indoor area. The ID information receiver changes the identifier of the ID information transmitter, or the like to position information by referring to the ID-position information list, thus identifying the position of an own station indoors. In the completion of LBS, the identifier of the actually used ID information transmitter or the like, and LBS service are reported to the positional information providing server.
