PURPOSE: To perform the position adjustment of a stopper simply and automatically by making the positioning stopper of an auto-loader capable of engaging with a member controlled by an NC for its movement.

CONSTITUTION: The carrier 16 of an auto-loader is advanced to the position of a stopper 19 on a beam 14 to carry in or carry out a work. The stopper can be clamped or unclamped against the beam by means of an oil hydraulic cylinder 22 and has a hooking hole 20 at the lower section. A member 10 controlled by an NC for its movement has a pin 12 movable back and forth and engaging with the hooking hole 20, and is moved by the NC control with the stopper engaged by the pin 12 while the auto-loader is positioned.
