Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positioning device for reducing noise at positioning, especially, the positioning device of a disk device head for which quietness is required, which is capable of reducing the noise by software at low cost, and switching the priority between quietness and high velocity according to the usage condition of this device.
SOLUTION: This positioning device is provided with a standard reference orbit generation model for generating a standard reference acceleration orbit, a standard reference velocity orbit, and a standard reference position orbit, a reference orbit generation model for generating a reference acceleration orbit, a reference velocity orbit, and a reference position orbit by allowing the three kinds of standard reference orbits to pass three filters having completely the same characteristics whose characteristics are changed on line by a filter adjuster, a state estimator for estimating the velocity of an object to be controlled, and a controller for performing positioning by moving the object to be controlled by allowing it to track the reference orbits.
