PURPOSE: To surely execute relative positioning of both trucks by pushing a push-in tool of one truck into the receiving tool of the other truck running on rails arranged in parallel.
CONSTITUTION: When a push puller truck C runs to the position of a roll carrying truck B fixed facing a roll exchange truck A, a driving cylinder 21 for a clamp pushing in tool 2 is driven to push a clamp pushing in member 24 along the inside surface of both guide plates 25 into the introducing port 11 of the clamp receiving tool 1. The introducing wheel 13 of the clamp receiving tool 1 comes in contact with a piece-shaped front tip face 23 of the clamp pushing in member 24 to receive the clamp pushing in tool 2. Positioning of the push puller truck C to the roll carrying truck B is accomplished easily, the push puller P laid on the push puller truck C is driven smoothly and the rolls R on the roll carrying truck B can be transferred onto the roll exchange truck A.
