Abstract:
To position correctly without a waste of a time and a material.
A device and a method for positioning a first piece 4 to a predetermined position in relation to a second piece 6 are disclosed. This device 2 has a tab 8 and a slot 10. The tab 8 defines the predetermined shape projecting from one of the first piece 4 and the second piece 6, and having plural faces 14-18. The slot 10 is positioned on the other of the first piece 4 and the second piece 6, and defines the predetermined shape having plural faces 20, 22. At least an approximately circular arc shape regulates one of plural faces of the tab and the slot. At least one of plural faces of the tab has the relationship of frictional contact with at least one of plural faces of the slot.
