PURPOSE: To increase the rigidity of a movable section by disposing a pair of upper and lower flat moving coils to a coil bobbin consisting of a nonmagnetic metallic material and fixing the bobbin to a supporter composed of a resin, etc.
CONSTITUTION: With a positioning device, a closed magnetic circuit is formed by a pair of adjacently arranged upper and lower fixed magnets 1 and a yoke 2, and a moving body in which coil bobbins 3 made up of a nonmagnetic metallic material are fastened to supports and flat moving coils 4∼5 are disposed is shaped. The moving body is inserted into air gaps among the fixed magnets, and the moving coils 4∼5 are energized, thus performing transfer and positioning. Stable control is enabled by the coil bobbins 3 having high rigidity and changing no magnetic field, and a region in which the moving coils 4∼5 and magnetic flux cross at right angles is increased.
