This gage is provided with an adjusting mechanism 30 by which the height of a pendulum 20 is adjustable in multiple stages and the adjusting mechanism 30 includes a slot hole 31 which penetrates the gage body 10, a bolt 32 to which the pendulum is attached rockably and which penetrates the slot hole and a lever 33 which is rotatably supported on the gage body. The slot hole 31 is extended longitudinally along the longitudinal direction of the gage body and includes a pair of inner wall surfaces 31A, 31B which are opposed to each other at prescribed intervals so that the bolt can be moved along the longitudinal direction of the gage body and, on the inner wall surface 31A on the one side, a plurality of bolt receiving parts 40 which are provided vertically side by side and which receive the bolt. On the lever 33, a plurality of notched parts 50 for regulating the movement of the bolt 32 fit to the bolt receiving part 40 are formed.
