Abstract:
To provide a positioning method and a positioning device capable of accurately and inexpensively performing the positioning of a detector to the center position.SOLUTION: A positioning method includes: a matching step of rotating a detector in a second rotation direction and matching a tip position of a stylus projecting from the bottom surface with the bias of a biasing member to a height position of the bottom surface when the detector is in the center position; first contact steps S3-S5 in which the tip of the stylus is brought into contact with the surface to be measured by moving the detector relative to the surface to be measured in a state where the tip position of the stylus is matched with a height position; and a second contact step in which the detector is rotated in a first rotation direction and the bottom surface is brought into contact with the surface to be measured after completion of the first contact step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
