Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make it possible to precisely perform the positioning of a bearing metal to a connecting rod, by arranging the engaging part of the bearing metal to the connecting rod, positioned apart from a divided surface and thereby eliminating the contact of the bearing metal with the divided surface. CONSTITUTION:The relative movement of a large end part 7a to a connecting rod7, in the center line direction, is constrained and the folded point 12a of a projection part 13 is tightly engaged to a step part 10a and thereby the relative movement around the center line is constrained. Furthermore, the engaging part of a bearing metal 12 to a connecting rod 7 is arranged, positioned apart from a divided surface so that it is not necessary to bring the bearing metal 12 into contact with the divided surface for positioning thereof. Therefore, it is possible to precisely perform positioning, without being affected from working deviation during dividing the large end part 7d by means of a broken process.
