PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve highly precise positioning without a GPS.SOLUTION: A positioning system 1 measures the position of the system in an environment markers 9 are installed at various places, the markers 9 each representing specific information through transition of colors of a plurality of cells that are arranged in series at known positions.
