Abstract:
To detect the position of a terminal including the kind thereof with a simple constitution.
A base station 4 emits an electromagnetic wave, receives a reflected wave from a terminal 2, and measures the position of the terminal 2 based on the round-trip time of the electromagnetic wave and the incident direction of the reflected wave. Each terminal 2 changes the intensity of the reflected wave following a rule assigned for discrimination from other terminals, and the base station 4 discriminates the terminal 2 of a reflection source based on the received reflected wave and the rule.
