To provide a positioning tool for punching capable of accurately forming a punched hole in a work piece by a punch and effecting accurate punching by a drill even when a marking off line is formed in a circular arc shape.
A circular lower through-hole 11a is formed in the center of a lower plate part 11 and a circular upper through-hole 12a is formed in the central part of an upper plate part 12 in an upper part at a given distance from a lower plate part 11 and in parallel to the lower plate part 11. The lower plate part 11 and the upper plate part 12 are intercoupled through a coupling plate part 13, and a plurality of leg parts 14 to hold the lower plate part 11 at a given interval from the upper surface of a work piece 15 and in parallel to the upper surface of the work piece 15 are mounted on the under surface peripheral edge of the lower plate part 11. The hole center of the core through-hole 11a and the hole center of the upper through-hole 12a are formed in a manner to coincide with each other and face an intersection point 16a of the marking off line 16 formed on the work piece 15 through the upper through-hole 12a and the lower through-hole 11a.
