Abstract:

To suppress efficiency reduction in recovery of power under conditions an actual expansion ratio becomes smaller than a design expansion ratio in a positive displacement expander (60) used in a vapor compression refrigerating cycle etc.

A communication passage (72) is provided, which is branched from an inlet port (37) to an expansion chamber (62) and allowed to communicate with a position for suction/expansion process, and part of high-pressure fluid on the side of inlet into the expansion chamber (62) is allowed to flow into the expansion chamber (62).
