PURPOSE: To transfer a fluid to one direction alone through action by both suction and discharge valves installed at both ends of a tube, by setting up each of electromagnets in and around both ends of a nonexciting magnetic tube containing a magnetic fluid.
CONSTITUTION: A solution containing a magnetic pulverulent body, namely, a magnetic fluid 2 is housed inside a nonexciting magnetic tube 1 made up in U- shaped form. At the vicinity of both ends 1', there are provided with each pair of electromagnets 3, while an exciting circuit 4, which gives magnetic force to these electromagnets in an alternate manner, is connected in line. Likewise, at both these ends 1' of the tube, there are provided with each pair of suction check valves 5 and discharge check valves 6. With these electromagnets 3 and the exciting circuit 4, when the magnetic fluid 2 reciprocates inside the tube 1, a liquid body is trabsferred from a pump suction port 7 to a pump discharge port 8 by action of these suction and discharge check valves 5 and 6.
