Abstract:

To provide a positive electrode active material having characteristics of both the Ni composite oxide particles with a large energy density and LiFePO4 particles with the capacity deterioration remaining lesser at the time of charging.

The surfaces of particles expressed by the general formula LiNi1-xMxO2, (where M is element(s) containing at least one of Al, B, Co) are covered with particulates expressed by the general formula LiFePO4.
