Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a PTC starting device with which the power consumption of the PTC in operation can be reduced in a PTC starting compressor.
CONSTITUTION: The case of a PTC starting device is formed in a double wall structure consisting of the inner and the outer walls 14, 15 and 16, heat insulatign space 18 is provided between the inner and the outer walls, the heat retaining property in the housing space 19 of the PTC thermistor surrounded by the inner walls 16 and 17, is increased, and as a result, the holding current to maintain the PTC thermistor at the prescribed temperature can be made small, and energy efficiency can also be enhanced by the small power comsumption.
