Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce a wattage lose and to reduce power consumption by a method wherein an insulating sheet is formed to be a size which can be housed in an apparatus body on one side and a semicircular nick which is a little larger than a diameter of a positive temperature coefficient thermistor element is formed on the side of an opening of the apparatus body.

CONSTITUTION: The following are provided: two coupling terminals 11, 12; a semicircular nick 13 whose size can be housed in an apparatus body 3b on one side and which is a little larger than a diameter of an element 4 on the side of an opening of the apparatus body. The two coupling terminals 11, 12 are set in prescribed positions of the apparatus body 3b on one side so as to face both spring contact makers 16, 17; an insulating sheet 15 is inserted and attached to a groove 14 which has been formed in the apparatus body 3b. Accordingly, a size (a surface area) of the insulating sheet 15 is reduced by half as compared with a conventional sheet; heat conduction deteriorates; heat of the positive temperature coefficient thermistor 4 to be conducted to a case 3c is suppressed. By this setup, a leakage current of the element is reduced; power consumption can be reduced while a wattage loss is suppressed to be small.
