Title:
POSITRON EMISSION TOMOGRAPHY SCANNER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3828896
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation detection module and a nuclear medicine diagnostic equipment, allowing increase in spatial resolution.
SOLUTION: A semiconductor radiation detector 21 comprises a plurality of semiconductor detecting elements 211 and conductive members 22, 23 which are copper plates. The detection element 211 comprises a semiconductor region S, having an anode A on its opposing one surface and a cathode C on the other surface. The detection elements 211 are arranged in a line so that their cathodes C face each other and that their anodes A face each other. The anodes A and the cathodes C are connected via the conductive members 22, 23, respectively. The conductive member 22 has a protrusion 22a, while the conductive member 23 has a protrusion 23b, and the detector 21 arranges the detection elements 211 so that they are perpendicular to a wiring substrate 24 and connects the protrusions 22a, 23a to a connecting member CP of the wiring substrate 24 and to a connecting member AP, respectively.
