Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To arrange a buffer mechanism in a small and compact manner in which a sheet is temporarily stayed when it is transferred to first and second different accumulation positions and transfers the staying sheet to an accumulation part in a short time.SOLUTION: There are provided a transportation route in which a sheet is transferred from a carrying-in opening 31 to first and second accumulation parts 35, 49, a buffer part Pb which is arranged at a part of the transportation route for temporarily staying a sheet that is sent from the carrying-in opening, and a control means which controls transportation of the sheet that is sent to respective accumulation parts from the carrying-in opening. The control means makes a plurality of sheets that are sent sequentially to the carrying-in opening temporarily stay in the buffer part. In a case where a plurality of the staying sheets are sent to one of the first and second accumulation parts, a plurality of sheets are simultaneously transferred in stacked manner, and in a case where they are sent to the other of the first and second accumulation parts, the plurality of sheets are transferred sequentially one by one.
